Malmo in Sweden is a major city, a great economic center. He is also called the City of Parks. From all the cities in Sweden, Malmo has the highest concentration of restaurants per capita. Malmo is also a port city, situated in the far south of the country.
The best experience in Malmo can be achieved by having a bike tour. The city is interlaced with a lot of bike paths which you can see everywhere you look. In the center are three major squares. The Alfons Gustave Square, The Big Square and Little Square.
In the middle of the Big Square, it can be found a statue of King Karl X Gustav of Sweden. The Malmo City Hall is in the eastern part of the square, and in the northwest is the home of Jorgen Kock, a German immigrant who became mayor of the city. In winter, the square is transformed into a skating rink.
The Small Square is the place where you can socialize and eat, because its edges have lots of restaurants and outdoor terraces.
The Alfons Gustave place is surrounded on three sides by shops and a McDonald's. In the center of it, is a large bus station and in the south is a cemetery which is connected with Slottsparken Jung, a large park that surrounds the Malmohus castle.
Malmo is an interesting city where you can visit many beautiful things including: Gamla Vaster, Molevang and Davidshal Square, the beautiful churches and much more.
